There's an App for that!

Good Morning!

How are you? Following an email exchange with Michal, I was inspired to investigate the iPad Apps available on APA. I have some great news to share! If you are an owner of an iPad/iPhone, there are a couple of very helpful and free Apps that I recently located.

EasyBib generates your APA, MLA, and Chicago style citations. Manually enter the title or scan the book bar code and voila! The App conducts a search on your title, locates all other pertinent information (date, publisher, etc.), and fills in the rest for you. This App also allows you to save, manage, and email your citations.

iCite (for iPhone users) is another useful APA App that automatically punctuates and formats your citations.

APAJournals is an iPad App that provides access to the PsycArticles database. There are a variety of current journal titles to choose from and you're able to view abstracts at no cost. To download the article for free, just jot down the title/author and log in to your SFU library account. This App also allows you to view recent press releases and bookmark your findings.

Hope these resources assist you in your final projects.

Sincerely,

Jacqueline
