Crash Course on Creativity

Hi HEALers!

This is so last minute but better late than never! I just received an update from Stanford's Venture Lab and some interesting online, tuition-free courses are coming up! I've highlighted a few below that I thought might interest you:

Dr. Tina Seelig teaches a Crash Course on Creativity that is "designed to explore several factors that stimulate and inhibit creativity in individuals, teams, and organizations. In each session we will focus on a different variable related to creativity, such as framing problems, challenging assumptions, and creative teams." See her dynamic TED presentation here to get a glimpse of her research and work.  It begins this Monday the 22nd! Sign up here.

For our health practitioners:

Mobile Health without Borders
"The course will function like a conference, but it takes place over three months rather than two days, and encourages the transformation from passive audience observer to active participant and thought leader. The themes to be addressed are: 1) Global Health Challenges. 2) Mobile Health Opportunities. 3) Entrepreneurship in Health Care." Sign up here.

Hippocrates Challenge
"Welcome to the Hippocrates Challenge 2013, a course designed for anyone with an interest in medicine. When you take the challenge in this course, you'll be offered the opportunity to gain a better understanding of the structure and function of the human body, how tissues respond to injury, and how stem cells and regenerative medicine can change the face of treatment of trauma." Sign up here.

Cheers,

Jacqueline
