Hello HEALers! Hope you are all well! We broke out the finger paints this afternoon, turned up the classical music, and went to town! The grey skies were calling for some colour. As your course winds down, this is what you had to share:

Resources

Fundamental Movement Skills Video Collections now available on PHE.

My new bee in the bonnet! Over the last few weeks I have been obsessed with learning as much as I can about 3D printing technology. I think they’re about the coolest tech gadgets out there right now. Then I watched this video on bioprinting. Is this a game changer or what?

Move over TED. Hello SXSW! Check out their amazing lineup this year and the SXSWedu site as well!

"Health Education & Behavior (HEB) is a peer-reviewed bi-monthly journal that provides empirical research, case studies, program evaluations, literature reviews, and discussions of theories of health behavior and health status, as well as strategies to improve social and behavioral health. HEB also examines the processes of planning, implementing, managing, and assessing health education and social-behavioral interventions."

EDRA Inaugural fall symposium: The Landscape of Accountable Care
"This one-day symposium specifically focused on translational research that most directly impacts those currently in practice. Sessions afforded designers, care and service providers and policymakers the opportunity to learn about emerging models of patient-centered care, navigate nuances of new policies and strategize for effective delivery systems, while embracing research as a means to improve patient, staff and resource outcomes." “Destiny is not a matter of chance; it is a matter of choice. It is not a thing to be waited for, it is a thing to be achieved.” ~ William Jennings Bryan
