Aging in Place Conference & Seniors Week 2013

2nd Annual Aging in Place Conference
Friday, May 31, 2013
Fleetwood Community Centre
8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

The conference will focus on 3 key areas:

Healthy Lifestyles
Education & Advocacy
Safety

The Keynote Speaker will be Dr. Irving Rootman at 9:00am.  He will discuss what is "Healthy Active Aging" and "Health Literacy" and the importance of both in preventing abuse, neglect, and isolation among older adults.  Pre-registration required as seating is limited and complimentary refreshments will be available for keynote registrants.
