Summer 823-5 Readings

Hello Everyone,

As specified in the course outline, we will not be solely focused on the two Egan books, but we will also be relying on supplemental journal articles for this course. For both of the Egan books, we will only be covering specific chapters. As such, you may choose to share the book or get it from the library, which is entirely up to you. I have outlined below which chapters we will examine as we go along. With respect the course readings, please see the attached list of the discussion leader article choices (also, please see the Doodle link at the bottom of this email to sign up for your time slot).

As we will be taking part in the Summer Institute Conference on Saturday July 14th, there has been a slight change in the discussion leader section of the syllabus. For both Saturday July 14th (Summer Institute Conference) and July 21st (Final Class Presentations) there will not be any discussions leaders. However, to ensure that everyone has a turn, you will have the opportunity to be a discussion leader for the Friday classes from June 1st to July 20th. I have also tried to include more article choices than time slots for most of the days, so there is a certain amount of flexibility in the papers we will be discussing. The sign up for your discussion leader article choice is on a first come first serve basis. That being said, if there is a particular date or article that you would like, don’t delay to sign up!
